THE CHALLENGE Stockholm’s streets are becoming increasingly congested. To help the vital number 4 bus arrive more safely, more quickly and on time, traffic lights were adjusted and a number of stops and 20 or so parking spaces were removed for a trial period.

THE SOLUTION The communication was largely based on both informing and gathering the reactions of passengers. The hashtag #4anskafram was developed and used in practically all communication.

THE RESULT Stockholm residents made frequent use of the hashtag and gave their feedback, both positive and negative, on the project. This enabled SL to quickly gauge the opinions of passengers during the trial period and to make changes straight away.
